    Maia Otarashvili is the Vice President of Delphi Global Research Center. She previously served as the Eurasia Program Director at the Foreign Policy Research Institute. Maia is co-editor of a 2017 volume Does Democracy Matter? The United States and Global Democracy Support (FPRI). Her research focuses on geopolitics and security of the Black Sea-Caucasus region, Russian foreign policy, and the post-Soviet conflicts in Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. Maia holds an MA in War Studies from King’s College, London, and an M.A. in Globalization, Development and Transition from the University of Westminster in London, with emphasis on post-authoritarian transitions.
